Telesom Honored New SONYO BOD Whom Elected Recently

The deputy Manager of Marketing and Public Relationship of Telesom Mr. Mohamed Abdi Darbo presents a brief introduction about the aim of the ceremony and enlightened that this kind of meeting is part of Telesom public relationship duties and responsibility.

Mr. Abdislaan Ismael Nour who is Business Development Division manager has congratulated to all Somaliland youth on especially the new elected SONYO Board of Directors who will be in term of two years. Mr. Abdisalan stated that Telesom Company always has a regular relationship with SONYO Umbrella.

Some of the elected new board of director of SONYO have spoken the ceremony and stated that they have appreciation of Telesom for its active role in supporting public events, services and public projects. Khadar Nour Yousuf speaking on behalf of SONYO BOD name has thanked Telesom this honor dinner with Somaliland Youth Leaders. Mr. Khadar said, “Telesom participate in most of Public development projects. Personally, I remember a time to request a contribution of road construction, Telesom supported generosity”.

Mr. Abdirahman Guun who is a member of new-elected SONYO Board of Director stated that TELESOM Company is always part of public development projects. He also stated that there are many people who are wealthiest than Telesom Company but never participate in public projects and never return their business profits.

Finally, the new BOD chairperson Mr. Mubarik Ismael Maal has thanked Telesom its role in the society in accordance with youth employment, contribution of public infrastructures and as well as Telecommunication role. Mr. Maal suggested Telesom to participate construction of Public Libraries, which do not exist throughout of Somaliland territory, expected the capital city of Hargiesa, which owns one small public library. “There is an empty land which required to be built by the new-elected board of directors. This new building will be the heritage of Somaliland youth, so if you support us, it will be a one which is branded your name”.
